Stock Market HD: Real Time Stocks Tracker + Forex App Reviews

This is very helpful portfolio tool to check my key holdings daily or as I might want such information. By being able to look at trends over 6 mos, 1 or 2 years and read related stock reports and analyses is very helpful. I like not having to open my computer to look up such information when I need it, especially the if I am traveling.

Im new to this app, only hade it a day, its a little premature to ask me to rate this. Give me a little more time working with it. It was easy to set up the stocks Im tracking, now Ill wait and see how this app performs.

I can easily track my stocks and read the news about them for more information.

Use it several times a day, especially to keep up with articles & analyses of stocks under consideration for trading.

This app is clearly just a knockoff of Apples own stock app, which comes built into every iPhone. It makes you pay $2.99 for adding more than 10 stocks to your watchlist. Fine. But, to add insult to injury, it doesnt even use the same source as Apples native stock app to pull news stories about each individual stock! If youre going to blatantly rip off the original, at least do it right! Whats the point of having this on my iPad if I still need to check my iPhone for the most relevant stories related to each stock?!? It sure does LOOK a helluva lot like the original, so I suppose it does warrant TWO stars, but what a disappointment. Apple, put the "Stocks" app on your iPads from here on out and kill this doppelgänger app forever!!!

HD upgrade is worthless for a few more listings - not even close to realtime - cant sort them in any order - user friendly - NOT!!! Get Apples free "Realtime Tracker" before you get gypped into trying this piece of junk.

This app is great except for the fact that it will just stop updating all the time forcing me to exit the app and log back in!

Enjoy it displaying on my iPod touch, and wish it would display the same way on the iPad, showing current price, not just the amount changed. If so, then 4 or 5 stars.

I would give this five stars except for the annoying problem where the stock data doesnt update. I frequently have to restart the app to get the data to refresh.

Do not buy. There is several levels of sw. Every time it looks like you get the "full" version but you only get one small upgrade. For example I bough the "gains and losses" upgrade, but that was only for one company stock, and of course you can buy additional upgrade to get another level of "gains and losses" Basically this is rip off

Terrible! Two or three days late on Mutual Funds. Refund is only recourse.

Charting is very basic. No real difference in HD charting.

Charts occupy almost the entire portrait screen. Consequently charts appear huge in the vertical direction and look different from the same charts in almost any other place. Also the charts contain just a few price labels so cant be read accurately. Well thats an improvement over the Stocks app (which has just two) but not by much. The app is basically a poor copy of the Stocks app with portfolios added. Even their icon is a poor copy!

New version is terrible. No longer shows stock ticker changes, instead has a button to "add holding" for the upgraded version. Skip this app.
